Federal Prize 2014
For the eleventh time, Heinz Soyer Bolzenschweißtechnik GmbH received the Bundesinnovationspreis, one of Germany’s most coveted innovation prizes at this year’s international Handwerksmesse in Munich, a trade fair for the crafts and skilled trades. On Sunday, 16 March 2014, the managing directors, Heinz Soyer Sr., Heinz Soyer Jr. and Florian Soyer, received the award from Iris Gleicke MdB, Parliamentary State Secretary at the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy. Spread over three generations, the Soyer company is well prepared for the future.
The HesoMatic-9 mobile stud welding station – exhibited at the fair – was awarded the Federal Prize. This technical innovation incorporates energy source, control and feeding unit in a single compact housing, enabling space and cost savings. The unwieldy cabling between the individual components is no longer required and this significantly minimizes the risk of errors and susceptibility to faults.
