The foundation stone for Heinz Soyer Bolzenschweißtechnik was laid on January 01, 1970 in a small garage extension in Planegg near Munich. Besides Heinz Soyer Sr. and his wife Helga Soyer there were only two other employees. The first self-owned company building was constructed in Wörthsee-Etterschlag in 1986. Over the years, four more buildings were added. It has been a long path full of challenges and changes, but what has remained constant is that Soyer is still a family-owned company with a passion for lightning-fast fastening technology – stud welding. Now in its third generation, our family tradition continues.
With SOYER you are always on the safe side!

Relocation to Germering
Due to a lack of space the company relocates four years later to Germering. The number of employees rises to 20 with a commercial area encompassing 600 m2.
Change of the logo design
The company logo is redesigned. The red star is symbolising the flash of light created while welding.
Robust drawn arc stud welders for the building boom
The product range is further enhanced by the addition of new inert gas stud welding machines. These compact systems are specially designed for multiple years of use and suitable for operation under the toughest conditions.
Inception of special machine
The first stationary large-format coordinate stud welding machines with automatic weld stud feed go into production.
A sign of the times
A tail is added to star logo. In this form the logo has been used till the present day.
Construction of the first company building
The first company building encompassing 2500 m2 is constructed in Wörthsee-Etterschlag. The number of employees rises to 40.
First Bavarian State Prize
The BMV-800 A with integrated process and quality control wins a gold medal at the International Trade Fair in Munich. The first of a total of five gold medals for excellent trade performance.
First Federal Prize
The prize is awarded for the patented miniature PS-0K stud welding gun with smallest possible dimensions and ideal for use in areas of difficult access. This is the first of a total of thirteen federal awards that we have so far received.
Patent application for a new device safety circuit (Pat. No.: DE000004415145C1). To this day, this invention is an important cornerstone of our product safety.
Construction of the second building
Second company building is constructed comprising dispatch warehouse, repair department, training room and open-plan office with a total of 6000 m2 of commercial space.
Growth through two additional buildings
Commissioning of a third operating building encompassing production hall and showroom and a fourth building comprising of office units.
Expansion of stud production
The growing demand for welding studs results in the expansion of our stud production. Besides classical weld studs, tapped studs and pins, special fastening elements made of different materials are also manufactured.
Market launch of SRM Technology®
With this technical innovation it is possible for the first time, to produce high-quality welded joints for safety relevant requirements using thick weld studs up to M16 on thin sheets. For this breakthrough, SOYER wins the “Federal Prize for Outstanding Innovative Performances to the Trade” at the IHM trade show in Munich.
Construction of the fifth building
For the outsourcing of the CNC production an additional hall is constructed. In this hall, large format stud welding machines are made to order and stored until delivery.
Introduction of integrated management system (IMS)
