New multifunctional welding gun from Soyer wins Bavarian State Prize 2013

At this year’s international trade fair in Munich, Heinz Soyer Bolzenschweißtechnik GmbH received the coveted Bavarian State Prize for its multifunctional PS-2KS welding gun.

The system changeover on the gun body allows switching between gap and contact welding within seconds. This makes the gun ideal for different stud welding tasks and enables trouble-free welding on problematic surfaces and delicate parts made of different materials such as steel, stainless steel, aluminium and brass.

According to the managing director Heinz Soyer Sr., one of the primary goals at Soyer is “to maximise the customer benefits of SOYER products”. This explains why this new development offers the user both practical and commercial benefits. Depending on the welding task now only one stud welding gun is needed instead of two.

This is the fourth time since 1988 that the family-owned company from Wörthsee has been awarded the Bavarian State Prize for outstanding craftsmanship.
