Flat plugs and double flat plugs for stud welding
The flat connectors (Type F1) and double flat connectors (Type F2) are suitable for tip ignition in stud welding. The grounding connectors are particularly suitable for thinner sheet metal thicknesses starting at 0.6 mm and ensure a secure fastening. All flat connectors are designed in accordance with DIN EN ISO 13918. Our flat connectors and double connectors are available in the following materials:
- Brass (CuZn37)
- Stainless steel (A2-50)
- Steel Grade 4.8 (copper-plated)
- Aluminium (AlMg3)
Dimensions and Tolerances of Flat and Double-Flat Connectors
The quality of our flat studs and double flat studs, manufactured in accordance with DIN EN ISO 13918, ensures consistently high strength in welded joints. The dimensions specified in DIN EN ISO 13918 allow the arc to propagate reliably and uniformly. This results in particularly secure and strong welded joints during stud welding.
